1-pound cooked shrimp
8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream
1 lemon, zested and juiced (lemon juice to equal 2 tablespoons)
2 teaspoons Real Lemon - lemon juice
1/4 cup fresh parsley leaves
1 tablespoon fresh dill
1 teaspoon dried dill
½ teaspoon Crystal Hot Sauce
1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Penzeys Justice Seasoning
white or black pepper to taste
1/8 teaspoon cayenne or to taste
Chop up the shrimp into 1/2" pieces. Set it aside.
Add softened cream cheese, mayo, sour cream, lemon juices, lemon zest, hot sauce, Justice seasoning, garlic powder, pepper, and cayenne in your food processor. Pulse the food processor until all is mixed and very smooth. Now add the shrimp, dill, and chopped parsley to the cream cheese mixture and pulse just to mix well. Trying not to completely mash all the shrimp. Put dip into a bowl, chill for several hours, then serve. We used Triscuits, Ritz Crackers, and Crunchmaster Multi-Grain Crackers, all were delicious with this dip.
