T's Sloppy Joes

1 tablespoon oil, I used light olive oil
½ - 1 red pepper, diced very finely
1 large onion, diced finely
2 pounds ground turkey or 1 pound each ground turkey and ground pork
½ cup ketchup
1 cup chili sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 heaping tablespoon brown sugar
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 ½ teaspoon yellow mustard
1 teaspoon dry mustard
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 small jar diced pimento
Hot sauce to taste
Pepper

In large skillet heat oil and then add red pepper and onions and cook for about 10 minutes, until the onions are soft and clear in color.  Next, add the ground turkey and cook for about 10 minutes or until turkey is cooked through.  Now add all other ingredients and simmer the mixture for 30 minutes.  Serve with toasted rolls of your choice and sliced dill pickles!
