Teri’s Pecan Pie



3 eggs
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup granulated sugar
½ teaspoon salt
1/3 cup melted butter
2/3 cup dark Karo syrup
1/3 cup Steen’s pure cane syrup
1 cup chopped pecans
½ cup pecan halves

Beat together everything but pecans.  Stir in chopped pecans and pour mixture into an unbaked pie shell.  Use the pecan halves to decorate the top of the pie and bake the pie in an 375 degree oven for 40 to 50 minutes or until filling is set.


* If you do not have any pure cane syrup, you can use all Karo syrup for a traditional pecan pie.
