¼ cup
butter
2 squares
unsweetened chocolate
¾ cup sugar
¼ cup
unsweetened cocoa
½ cup
evaporated milk
1 teaspoon
vanilla
dash salt
Melt butter
and chocolate in small sauce pan over low heat.
Remove from heat and stir in sugar and cocoa, return to burner and
continue to cook over low heat slowly stirring in evaporated milk and then
vanilla. Simmer 3 to 4 minutes more
until thickened.
Spoon over
ice cream! Also perfect over brownies
and ice cream or fudge pie with ice cream.
Keeps in
refrigerator for several weeks, just reheat in the microwave and serve!
